I think it's great that you nursed him through it now, rather than when he's older but still, my heart hurt for all of you reading this. He is just the absolute cutest! I can't believe I get one of these any day now. :)More Than Wordshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12481524913587270637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626561704201352431.post-51004730659171732512017-02-20T15:41:10.539-05:002017-02-20T15:41:10.539-05:00Beautifully written. So happy that he is on the mend. When Boo had surgery on her ears, the first few hours and that night was the hardest! She was miserable, screaming in pain, we were on the phone with the doctors trying to assess what was "normal" but really when it is your child, nothing feels normal. Echo above, so grateful that we do not know what the chronic care for a sick child feels like. Those parents (and those kids) are so brave. I'm very happy it's over as well :) Ashleighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03053195426495332803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626561704201352431.post-50441259310803318372017-02-08T10:41:09.355-05:002017-02-08T10:41:09.355-05:00Wow that is quite the ordeal and I'm glad he i...Wow that is quite the ordeal and I'm glad he is now healing and feeling much better. I've had two children put under and it was awful. Riley had her tonsils and adenoids removed and I remember feeling so helpless seeing her go in. Jackson had to be put under for his dental problems and I held his hand as he fell asleep which was AWFUL. I feel like waving at the doors was easier for me because seeing your child go limp suddenly was heart breaking. Both kids woke up in TERRIBLE spirits. Riley cried and was awful for 30-40 minutes. I remember that. But I'm glad it was done when they were little too because they don't remember it at all.

I can't imagine having to deal with serious medical issues constantly--those parents are brave.

I'm happy you're over this big hurdle and that all went well. :)Staceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01492898465897070415noreply@blogger.com
