The refined palate of a 15-month old

I've created monsters. Actually, I can't take all the credit. My parents and brother have played a big part in it.

I have 15-month old foodies. Tonight they indulged in lobster, 12-year old cheddar, truffled brie, blue cheese and a small hand dunk into fine Chablis. All before a near adult-sized dinner portion was eaten. While they eat a dairy-free diet, the cheese was too incredible to not give them a taste. They loved it all. Quinn was especially into the lobster...shocking.

  1. That's great! I have a friend whose daughters request things like mussels and lobster for their birthday dinners. I'm jealous. My kids were awesome eaters as babies/young toddlers and then they got picky. Now that Erik is almost 6, though, he's getting adventurous with food again, trying more things we offer and recently requesting to try salmon!

    1. Oh man, if the girls start asking for mussels and lobster, we're going to go broke!

I can't wait to see what dinner is like in your house this next couple of years.

    1. Hopefully they will continue to be good eaters. Everyone keeps telling me about their toddlers suddenly becoming very picky. I'm dreading that!
